The first floor of Kyoto ICHINODEN Main Store is a sourvenir shop selling saikyozuke (fish pickled in sweet Kyoto-style miso). We have various saikyozuke products for our customers to choose from. They are perfect as gifts as well as an additional dish to meals at home.

Behind the shop curtain, you will find a shop with an atmosphere of a machiya (traditional Kyoto house). In our shop, you may find a variety of goods including “Kura Misozuke”, a type of saikyozuke with our own secret recipe. Our products are not only suitable as gifts, but also as an additional dish for meals at home or souvenir of Kyoto. Each piece of fish is packed separately, hence it is easy to store. We have received positive comments from our customers such as our products is “very convenient as a main dish can be done simply with one frying pan” and “it is delicious even if it is cold”. Hence, our products can be served as part of a meal at home, or as part of a lunch box. We have included a “How to cook” leaflet inside the pack, describing how to cook the saikyozuke deliciously.
